Receive your second-year extended warranty approval via email including further instructions about how to claim.


How you claim depends on for how long you have owned your qualifying LG device:

  • If you are claiming during the first year of device ownership (months 1-12), your device is covered through LG’s standard manufacturer’s limited warranty. To file a claim during your first 12 months of ownership, simply visit your carrier or file a repair request here.
  • If you are claiming during your second year of device ownership (months 13-24) and have enrolled in the LG Second Year Promise program, simply click Start a Claim and provide your details to file your claim. Once your claim has been received and validated, we will ask you to return your device to us using the provided pre-paid shipping label. When we receive your device, we will be able to issue you with a replacement.
